Last night, in what was supposed to be a traditional reunion, MTV aired a "Top 10" segment, that brought the final 12 castmembers to comment on the Top 10 Moments of the Inferno 3.
Maybe MTV is trying to cut costs by saving the airfare and studio time, but last night's episode only featured comments on the Top 10 dramatic moments.
Although it wasn't the traditional reunion, the episode last night was relatively interesting. Tonya (Chicago) told us that she knew that CT (Paris) was lying when he said he was passed out after punching Davis (Denver). Susie (Australia) pretty much deemed herself the "new Beth (Los Angeles)", while John (Key West) spent most of the episode berating her. Ace (Paris), of course, is Mr. Nice Guy and is secretly in love with Cara (South Pacific).

Inferno Episode #15: Susie wins the LifeShield and sends Paula in after the team tells her not to
Last night, Susie (Australia) was at the center of controversy as she was forced to win the LifeShield and make a hard decision. THe episode started with Susie being thrown into a pool by Abram (South Pacific). Although Abram did it as a complete joke, Susie was visably unnerved by his antics, and sought solace with Cara (South Pacific) and Paula (Key West).
The mission was to climb between two rope ladders using rope swings. The fastest guy and girl would get a trip to Hawaii. Susie needed to only beat Paula, as Cara would most likely take herself out of the competition at Susie's behest.
Some people have trouble with it. Anessa (Chicago), who was also up, failed to complete it. Kenny (Fresh Meat) and John (Key West) also fall. Cara looks like she's making good time, until she falls off the ladder. Paula is also doing well, but she too falls off. Alton (Las Vegas) makes the course in an astounding time.
Susie acknowledges the fact that all she needs to do is to complete the course to make it to the end. She seems like she is having trouble with the course, only until Paula steps up and tells her exactly what to do. Susie ends up completing the mission, thus winning the LifeShield. Evelyn (Fresh Meat) also steps it up and beats most of the guys.
In the final tally, Evelyn and Susie win the LifeShields, with Ev taking home the trip. Alton also takes home the trup to Hawaii.
Before the final mission, the Good Guys are sitting around trying to convince Susie to pick Cara and not Paula to go into the Inferno. While the team is not convinced that Cara is a good competitor, Cara says that she played the game hard and hasn't had a chance to show what she can do, because she's had to hold back because Susie was sent to the Inferno each time.
At the Inferno, Evelyn sends in Aneesa. Susie says that she made a decision between what she thought was right and what the team thought was right. She picks Paula to go into the Inferno. John is visably upset at her decision. However, in the Shimmy, Paula easily shimmies up two walls and beats Aneesa, sending her home in the rematch of the Duel.
Next episode: The final mission goes down and the Good Guys alienate Susie and Cara by not talking to them. Can the Good Guys pull it together for the final mission?

Inferno Episode #14: Kenny and John win the LifeShield, Derrick sends Davis home
Last night's episode of the Inferno marked the first time that Derrick (Extreme) was able to break his own personal curse of losing in the final elimination round before the final Challenge. In the Gauntlet 2, Derrick lost to Timmy (USA Tour 1). In Fresh Meat, he and Diem (Fresh Meat) lost to Darrell (Campus Crawl) and Aviv (Fresh Meat). And in The Duel, Derrick lost to Wes (Austin).
So, now, much to his chagrin, he's voted into the last Inferno. This undoubtedly sends Derrick into panic mode as he wants to break his losing streak. He feels that he has to win this Inferno to prove himself to the team.
The cast gets their mission and they find out that they will be "reeling" the other team in. The guys will be reeling in the girls from a fishing boat, while the girls try to swim away. The team with the fastest average time receives $10,000.
The teams struggle with the Challenge initially, while some pull it off easily. Alton (Las Vegas) fails to reel in Evelyn (Fresh Meat) who seems to be pulling far ahead of the competition. Davis (Denver) seems to pull off an excellent time, as well as Derrick (Extreme). However, Kenny (Fresh Meat) and John (Key West) each win LifeShields, guaranteeing them a spot in the finale.
Derrick and Davis meet in the Inferno, playing "Corner Ball". The two of them have to get a ball at an apex of two walls. Each has to run alongside their side of the wall, grab the ball, and run down their opponents wall to cross the finish line. Derrick easily beats Davis, as the fire and tenacity prove too much for Davis to handle.
The guys are ecstatic that they are going into the final mission. The girls, on the other hand, are both pissed and nervous about the next day's events.

Inferno Episode #14: Post your reactions here
It's Derrick (Extreme) and Davis (Denver) at the chopping block as the two male castmembers vie to get the LifeShield in order to prevent them from going into the Inferno for the very last time.
Derrick, who has been flying under the radar for most of this season, is super anxious because he has a history of losing Challenges right at the end. It's going to be a good episode.

Inferno Episode #12: Jenn and Susie finally get their match in the Inferno, Cara and Susie are targeted
Last night's episode of the Inferno brought Susie (Australia) and Jenn (Denver) to the realization that maybe they couldn't avoid the Inferno like they have been for the past few weeks. Susie tries to comfort Cara (South Pacific) that she won't go and Jenn is comforted by Derrick (Extreme). The two are uncertain of their futures although they feel confident about going into the Inferno.
Their mission, fairly simple, is to match up a wooden giraffe out of dozens on the other side of a lake, you just have to remember which one it is. The Good Guys get to a slow start and the guys criticize Alton (Las Vegas) for not being able to complete the Challenge. It looks like Alton may be turned on fairly soon. Cara purposefully goes slow to help Susie win the LifeShield.
Kenny (Fresh Meat) doesn't complete the mission for the Bad Asses. Soon, John (Key West) realizes that markings on the legs signify that the corresponding giraffe on the other side of the lake. Susie and Ace (Paris) don't hear him, and Ace has a hard time because of it.
When Ace is going, Cara asks John if he had told Ace about the markings on the legs. John looks like he didn't tell him, although footage clearly shows he did. It all comes down to Evelyn (Fresh Meat), who needs to complete the mission for the Bad Asses to win. She fails to do so, giving the Good Guys the victory.
Meanwhile, Janelle (Key West) and Paula (Key West) win the LifeSaver, meaning Susie and Jenn will be sent in. Ace later criticizes John for not telling him about the markings because he thinks that he wanted to win the prize. The guys freak out and eventually come to the conclusion that somehow Susie and Cara were trying to pin something down on John presumably because of his alliance with Paula, the other girl out. (Heavy foreshadowing ahead...)
Susie and Jenn go into the Inferno, Zero Gravity. While attached to 75% of their body weight, they must ascend and descend ladders to clip four flags on each end of a L-shaped apparatus. Jenn gets stuck on the first flag and Susie is on her third when Jenn finally gets it on. Jenn loses and Susie wins.
Although it now looks like the Good Guys will now turn on the Cara/Susie alliance in the near future.

Tonight both Susie (Australia) are Jenn (Denver) are up in the Inferno once again. However, even if it is a girls Inferno day, the guys somehow get involved in the drama. Ace (Paris) and John (Key West) get into it this week, when it's somewhat of a "he said", "she said" argument when John is criticized for withholding some sort of information from the team.

Inferno Episode #11: Aneesa is the center of attention, Susie and Jenn are still targeted
The episode began with Jenn (Denver) speaking with Aneesa (Chicago). The talk centered around Aneesa's inability to compete with a busted knee. While Jenn was trying to convince Aneesa that the final mission may involve some serious strenuous exertion that may put stress on her knee, Aneesa tried to reassure Jenn that she was willing to take that risk. The Good Guys, meanwhile, have only three girls left on their side. There's the obvious alliance between Cara (South Pacific) and Susie (Australia), leaving Paula (Key West) to be the most likely girl to be sent to the Inferno.
The mission involved pushing these railroad carts on a set of train tracks. Aneesa refuses to sit this one out and while the rest of the team wants Aneesa to sit out, she insists that she participate, making Jenn sit out. The Bad Asses have the early lead, but soon fall behind. The Good Guys develop a significant lead and end up winning the Challenge.
The girls now have to decide who to send into the Inferno. The Bad Asses decide that they want to send either Susie or Paula. They figure since Susie and Cara are in an alliance, that if Susie wins the LifeShield, she'll send in Paula. So they decide to put Susie in the Inferno. On the Good Guys side, they decide to put in Jenn. No change.
Then the strategists begin to work. Susie tries to make it apparent that she doesn't want the LifeShield, but then she confesses that she's only making it seem this way because she doesn't want Paula to win the LifeShield herself. Then Susie is laying at the pool with Cara and she tells Jenn that she doesn't want to see her go home. This makes Jenn angry and she vents her frustration to Aneesa.

Inferno 3 Episode #9: Tonya tries to make amends, Aneesa has an injury, Ace and Kenny sent to the Inferno
The episode begins with a little Tonya (Chicago) drama. Tonya and Davis (Denver) make out at a club. Tonya is married. Davis is gay. The two go home, but nothing happens. Later on, the Good Guys girls and Davis are playing the "I Hate Tonya" game, but this time, Tonya is listening outside the door. She momentarily breaks down, calls her husband, and vents her frustrations of not being able to get along with everyone at the Challenges.
On the way to the Challenge, we see Aneesa (Chicago) has a nasty knee injury that could potentially prevent her from competing. She lets the cast know that she's going to the doctor to check out her knee and she might be able to compete.
The mission is jumping from trampolines to platforms, but all team members must stand on the platforms in between the trampolines at one time to get to the end. Aneesa cannot compete in this mission. Kenny (Fresh Meat) says that Aneesa may as well go home.
The mission is pretty difficult at first, but both teams get the hang of it by the end. The Bad Asses pull off a win.
At deliberations, both teams select what they believe to be easy targets: Ace (Paris) and Kenny. Both are pretty gracious about it. Meanwhile, the Bad Asses begin to gang up on Aneesa, questioning her value to the team. Aneesa vigorously defends herself and threatens to pull a Gauntlet II where she exploded at Cara (South Pacific).

Inferno 3 Episode #8: Susie vs. Tonya (again), Colie is backed into a corner, Jenn beats Colie
Last night on the Inferno saw an incredibly tense moment between the Good Guys team when Colie (Denver) was basically thrown into the Inferno when the rest of her team had lost faith in her. Susie (Australia), Cara (South Pacific) and Colie had been in an alliance. Susie pledged not to vote Colie in if she won the LifeShield. John (Key West) lobbies hard to keep Paula (Key West), who is his friend and a stronger competitor. Meanwhile, on the Bad Ass team, Tonya (Chicago) wants to win the LifeShield so she can take out Susie.
The group gets their mission. They have to walk on these poles that are supported by the rest of their team from one platform to another. Evelyn (Fresh Meat) and Colie (Denver) both fall and it causes tension and a DQ for each team. It turns out that Susie and Tonya win the LifeShield. Susie has to save herself. Tonya leaves it up in the air that she may go in.
Meanwhile, the Good Guys pressure Susie to send in Colie. It culminates in the guys making Colie cry in the van, so Colie knows that it's coming. Tonya had told Jenn that she'd make her decision once they were at the Inferno. Susie decides to send Colie. Tonya doesn't save Jenn. They have to maneuver around a huge rotating wheel. Colie loses pretty easily. Susie says that they chose the right person to go to the Inferno. Colie graciously steps out of South Africa and the game.

Inferno 3 Episode #8: Post your reactions here
On this week's Inferno 3, both Susie (Australia) and Jenn (Denver) are once again sent to the Inferno. If you don't want to find out what happens, stop reading.
The Good Guys look like they want to send Paula (Key West) into the Inferno, because Colie (Denver) is in an informal alliance with Susie (Australia) and Cara (South Pacific). Talk is about Susie winning the LifeShield and sending in either Paula or Cara. Here's a minor note, Susie gets sent to the Inferno pretty much everytime and almost wins the LifeShield pretty much everytime. Tonya (Chicago), meanwhile, wants to annihilate Susie.
The girls seem to be fully dramatic. Talk about tonight's episode in this post.

Inferno 3 Episode #6/7: Davis sends Danny home; Tonya starts a feud with Susie
This episode begins with Danny (Austin) going off about being voted into the Inferno. Aneesa (chicago) makes some sort of comment about him not having confidence in himself. The team gets their mission. They have a wall climbing challenge, where the guys have to work with the girls in order to scale a wall.
The Good Guys have an extra guy, so they have to make a girl go twice, while the Bad Asses have to make a girl sit out. Colie (Tonya) goes twice, while Aneesa sits out. Abram (South Pacific) and Tonya (chicago) go first for the Bad Asses. They get great times. Alton (Las Vegas) and Colie (Denver) DQ because Colie drops the flag. Everyone is mistified that Alton would get a DQ.
The Bad Asses end up DQing when Kenny (Fresh Meat) and Jenn (Denver) go up. So the teams even themselves out. Danny and Ev (Fresh Meat) have some trouble communicating through the wall. Davis (Denver) and Colie have trouble and can't beat the previous time of John (Key West) and Paula (Key West). Abe and John win the LifeShields and they have the chance of giving the LifeShields to Davis or Danny.
Danny seems to be intensely involved in winning the Inferno. Abram decides not to use the LifeShield. John decides to let the new guy pay his dues. The Inferno is a glorified game of tag where the two contestants have to run around this apparatus, until one does a complete cycle and laps the other person. Davis, being the ultimate runner, beats Danny, sending him home.
Jenn and Davis talk about being pushed back into a corner and being pushed to go to the Inferno each time. The teams get their mission and the Bad Asses are worried about the fact that they only have three guys left in the competition.
Then comes the Susie (Australia) and Tonya (Chicago) fight. Susie asks Tonya what perfume she's wearing. Tonya tells her. Susie tells her that she smells like a stripper, but in a good way. Tonya tells her that she's not stupid and for her to shut up. Susie tells her that there's people starving over the world and she's complaining about the little things. Susie thinks Tonya is bipolar and needs to be prayed for.
The Challenge is grape smash. They have to take grapes, bring them into wine barrels, smash them up, and transfer the juice with their mouth to group buckets. The most juice, wins. The guys are freaking out about wearing the speedos. Ace (Paris), Alton (Las Vegas), and Timmy (USA Tour 2) don't want to wear the speedos.
They don't compete and the Good Guys are obviously suffering. The Bad Asses defeat the competition. The Bad Asses have about 15 bottles while the Good Guys have about 5. The Bad Asses lead $40,000 to $30,000. The stage is set for a Susie/Tonya battle.
The rest of the episode finds the two at each others throats. Susie is nominated. Tonya is nominated. Susie, Cara, and Colie sit in a circle, eating chips and salsa, taking turns saying why they hate Tonya. Tonya goes on a tirade telling Ev why she hates Susie and wants to send her home.

Inferno 3 Episode #6: An hour long extravaganza has Tonya going off on Susie
Tonight is an hour long episode of the Inferno.
We'll see if Danny (Austin) or Davis (Denver) will win the LifeSaver or if they will have to defend themselves in the Inferno. Danny seems angry that the Good Guys think he's weak, so he's ready and eager to defend himself in the Inferno. Highlight to read spoilers: They both lose the LifeShield and Danny goes home.
We'll also see the first half of the girls competition. Tonya (Chicago), for whatever reason, goes off on Susie (Australia) during this episode.
Should be a great hour. Post your comments here.

Inferno 3 Episode #5: The Good Guys faced with trouble, band together, win
The episode started out with the cast partying it up in South Africa. Everyone is having a grand old time and the cast is pretty drunk off their rocker. Most people go into the Challenges for two reasons: 1) money and 2) to have a good time. Cara (South Pacific) makes the comment that she hopes they send in Ace (Paris) because he isn't at the Challenge for the right reasons. The cast gets their clue for their next mission.
One night, at 3AM, ACe, Johnny (Key West) and Danny (Austin) decide to go into the girls room, play music really loud, and just wreak havoc. While Ace is shaking the ladder of Susie's (Australia) bed and is climbing up to sing to her, Susie smacks him three times in the face. Ace leaves.
There's palpable tension between the two before the mission. Susie sends Timmy (USA Tour 2) as a messenger prior to the mission beginning so they can squash any tension. Ace doesn't want to do it.
The mission: The teams have to cross a river with all these materials to build a fire. Once at the other side of the river, the teams have to build a fire to burn through a rope that will release a platform that carries three castmembers. Meanwhile, these three castmembers have to dump water on the teams that are passing under the platform to get their materials for building the fire wet.
It all comes down to the fire building and actually starting the fire. It all comes down to lighting steel wool with a battery. They actually figure it out fairly quickly, but they aren't bunching up the steel wool enough to light the fire. Danny and Johnny and Ace seem to be leading the teams. TJ gives them a clue. The Good Guys light their fire. The Good Guys win and pull ahead by $10,000.
Time for nominations. The Bad Asses nominate Davis (Denver) because they think he's weak. The Good Guys nominate Danny because they think he's the level-headed "brains" of the operation. Danny takes this as a signal that the Good GUys think he's weak, which makes him want to go into the Inferno headfirst. Someone makes a comment that it's a bit self-defeating to think that way, which is excellent foreshadowing. Ace and Susie apologize to each other. Ace realized that he acted poorly and Susie realized that she shouldn't have hit Ace.

Inferno Episode #5: Post your reactions here
Another Tuesday, another episode of the Inferno 3.
This time it's the guys turn to face the Inferno. It won't be pretty as the teams will be targeting two pretty obvious targets on both sides when they choose which guy wants to go to the Inferno.
If you remember, the challenge was "Ropeburn", but the real drama in the Challenge seems to center around Ace (Paris) and Johnny Bananas (Key West). Probably as a prank, the two guys sneak into the girls room and do something. We're only shown the aftermath in the preview when Cara (South Pacific) and especially Colie (Denver) are both yelling at Ace. Looks like turmoil on the Good Guys team.
Tune in tonight at 10PM. Post your reactions here.
